Lucky Fins Seafood Grill

We needed a quick lunch close to the Boise Centre. This place hit the spot for me! I ordered the fish and chips with the traditional Arctic Cod. The also offer fish and chips made with Sterling Salmon or Alaskan Halibut. It was served with thinly cut, crispy truffle fries! They were awesome! The tartar dipping sauce was really good, but I did have to ask for a second ramiken. One of our team-mates ordered the Tokyo entree salad. It looked amazing! Generous amounts of sushi and vegetables filled a long boat-shaped bowl. A couple others ordered the blackened fish tacos, and I didn't hear any complaints. Our server took good care of us, as well.

Ordered some sushi and it was good other than I found hair in my sushi which caused me to throw it away. Other than that it was quick and easy.

Expensive even with happy hour specials, had 4 8pc rolls for $48, was good quality. The wait was substantial, we ordered two 14 dollar rolls and it took 35 min to get them. We immediately ordered two more hoping they'd be a little quicker but again about 30 min. The food was good but may not return.

The mac & cheese was good, however it was mostly lobster claws, which are not my favorite. The Winterberry cocktail was good as well.

I was there for a conference at the Boise Centre, so this has a great location. The service was a little slow for trying to eat within an hour break. The food tasted good, but seemed pricey for what you got.

Eh... portions were small. Sushi is not traditional. Oysters didnt have much flavor..

Everyone was satisfied with their meals at brunch. Waitress was more than accommodating to our frequent and urgent requests for refills on our bottomless mimosas. The happy hour deals on food made me walk away, well happy.

If you’re hungry and you enjoy seafood then this is place for you.

Delicious as always. Food is fresh and prepared with care. Casual atmosphere. Servers are very friendly. Prices I think are a little high, which is all that is keeping this from 5 stars.

Always enjoy our experience here! Its a fun atmosphere for game days and hockey nights, and I've always had friendly service. Lobster stuffed avocado...so good! Great sushi, and fantastic fish and chips! A libation for anyone, and a GREAT happy hour!

Even though they are excellent seafood I went to try out the ribeye I've heard is good and it is 1 of the best ribeye I've ever had!

I never write reviews but our experience was nothing short than amazing! My wife and I wanted a simply dinner date after a long day and we had my wife’s service dog with us. I walked inside and asked if we could be seated out side since we had the service dog with us (most places only let us sit out side with him) but our wonderful waiter Brian whom was already super welcoming invited us inside to eat even with our service dog. Although we were happy inside on the patio, he went out of his way to start a nice warm fire and just was the most amazing server PLUS the food was great!! Definitely will be back

A great deal on Sundays for sushi rolls. Buy one get one half off all day! Nice ambience and the new bartender was very friendly and attentive. The sushi and service has definitely improved since we first started dining here. Beers are a bit pricey but that’s just Boise in general these days. Nice place for a quiet date night.

Best seafood in town . I normally dine at Meridian location but was downtown so we went in for lunch. It was halibut fish and chips. Plus a cup of chowder. WOW

Love the patio area .. Great place to hangout with friends and family.The food is pretty decent with reasonable price.

Looking for seafood or sushi in Boise? This is it. This place is fantastic. I have been here twice, and disappointment is the furthest thing from my mind. My last visit was a date night with my wife, and while there was a wait, it was worth it. This was by far one of the more enjoyable sit down meals I've had in awhile. Service, food, atmosphere was spot on. I will be visiting this business again.

Good food. Super spendy though. Everyone was nice. Had a dinner party there with husbands company.

Every dish was amazing. The lobster stuffed avocado was absolutely the best way to start my three course meal. Every dish that was ordered had a little kick to it which made my night as I love spicy foods. The environment was clean, the service was okay, but the food made up the difference in a major way. I would recommend Lucky Fins to anyone wanting great seafood .

wonderful dinner here tonight. Try as I might to shun the carbs, I could not stop eating the coconut lime rice side that came with my mango shrimp tacos. How do they make that stuff so utterly addicting. The mango salsa in my shrimp tacos was on point for flavor and the shrimp cooked perfectly. And yes, I tried the lobster tater tots. shuthefrtontdoor they are delightful. Service from everyone on staff super attentive, they made me feel like I was important.

Amazing seafood for Boise. Owners, upper management & servers are all wonderful. One of my favorite patios in the downtown area.

Absolutely incredible food firstly...However the environment is really what makes the experience amazing.I snapped a few photos my last visit the other day just for it's sheer beauty and size!It's big enough to hold a conference in the back!The original looking deck makes it feel like you are on a ship.Absolutely awesome place and one of my favorites!10/10 (rare)

Went with a group of 5. Everyone loved it. Best fish tacos. Edamame is delicious! 5 different types of rolls & everyone was very impressed. They have a lot of drink options. We all got the bloody Mary drink. Highly recommended for all the sushi lovers out there!

Came here with a large group- good service with solid flavors. Pablano soup was perfect blend of spice and savory. I used the sprouts add my main dish and wasn't bummed at my decision- great combination of parmesan and ceasar. Couldn't finish even after sharing with table!

Lucky Fins has a great patio that looks over the fountain on the Grove, which one of the main reasons we decided to dine here. For being a slow Sunday lunch, service was also slow but very friendly. The happy hour fish tacos were ok. The home made masa tacos were way too thick and overpowered the entire flavor and consistency. The ramen looked amazing but the flavor and consistency of the noodles made it barely edible. Just a bad day in the kitchen I guess. We've been here before and it was totally on point. These guys have a bomb happy hour and worth a visit!

5 of my friends and I went to dinner there at 4 for alive after 5 and had the best time! The busser Scott was exceptional. He was so sweet and helpful! He is such a great addition to lucky fins!! He totally made our entire day with just a short conversation. Thanks again😊

I am a seafood lover and this place is absolutely amazing!!!! My boyfriend and I came here for date night. The service and food was hands down the best in town. There is truly no seafood place like this in Boise!!! We will definitely be back!

Great sushi. The waitress was very friendly and attentive.

My wife and I had lobster tater tots, honey chipotle salmon, and spicy mac n cheese. Overall the salmon plate was good ... not great. Mainly because the salmon itself tasted like nothing. It had the texture of salmon and it was perfectly cooked. But it was strangely the flavor of water, for lack of a better comparison. The mac n cheese was good to my palate but my wife took a couple bites and couldn't handle the heat. The tots were good.

Went there for a date night, great service and great food. Last time I ate there was 4 years ago, wasn't disappointed then and wasn't disappointed now. Highly recommend getting the kickin shrimp appetizer if you like spicy food. ❤

Very tasty variety of food to eat! A bit noise near large groups but settled down when food arrived. Nice atmosphere and good staff. Had seared Ahi and Scallops and was very satisfied.

Arizona Margarita was nearly pure ice, so that’s a big negative but the Smokin Mac and cheese was really good. Had only one piece of sausage in it at first but waiter took care of that quickly for me. Wife had Key West Cobb which was not bad but not memorable.

Everyone was so welcoming even during the pandemic! The food was amazing and the cooks know what they are doing!

Was amazing good food and the server really helped me out with my diet. Me being a server I know how difficult it can be trying to help people who are picky. But over all amazing service. Amazing food and Its a very nice restaurant

Who would expect good seafood in Boise. You should. Lucky Fins delivered fresh and well prepared dishes. They are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions changes to meals and they did amazing job

Loved this place! Food was spot on, drinks were fun and our server Madison gave us great recommendations and fantastic service. Calamari was done very well with a light crunchy breading and not overcooked or chewy. Mango roll was delicious and our favorite with the mojo roll a close second. We will definitely be back!

Shane was our waiter tonight and he was wonderful! All the food was delicious, the service was top par, and the drinks were amazing.

The food is bomb AF. Best mac n cheese I've EVER HAD. Super cheesy and you get a pretty good sizable bowl of it for 4$. And there tacos are brilliant. Not to mention they get fresh brewed tea from the tea shop next door. Will definitely come here again.

Sushi has great flavor, fresh for Boise.Presentation is a bit messy.Overall a nice experience. Attentive wait staff and we were seated quickly.

The vegetables were crisp, the mushrooms had texture, their potatoes were cooked all the way with lots if flavor. The cedar smoked salmon was amazing and didn't really need lemon and was cooked to perfection. The cod was what you would expect from high end cod. The calamari was very nice as a starter. I would come here again.
